In this article, I will teach you how you can Creating an Account on Google Ads. We have to follow a process to create an account on Google Ads, for which we require a google account. If you already have a Gmail account, you already have a google account. We also have a Gmail account, and I will create a Google ads account from the same account:
Create a google ads account
To create a google ads account, I will open the website of google ads, which is ads.google.com. When I opened it, it has taken me to the landing page of Pakistan.
It has a lot of information. But what I will do is, there are two buttons at the top right corner namely sign in and start now.
Creating a New Account
When you are creating a new account, you click on start now. I will try to link it with the same Gmail account. For that, I will click on start now. When you will scroll here, it will ask to get start. It will ask you to write your business name which suitable for your business . If you go in this process, you can see there is a complete on-boarding process, where it will ask you to create a campaign in the future, credit card details, and will ask you to specify all the details.
We don’t have to select it. If you don’t skip it, you will be entangle in this loop and you might not find the option to quit it. So, we have to skip it right away. We don’t have to press the next button or type anything here. For that, we will first scroll to the bottom. There is a small line, switch to export mode.
Are you a professional marketer?
When you scroll to this page, you have to check this. It says: “Are you a professional marketer? Convert to expert mode.” Then you have to click here. When I will convert it to expert mode, you can see it is now showing a different flow. Here it is asking you to specify your objective and create a campaign. So, we don’t have to follow this flow, because if you click next after selecting anything, you will again be trapped in the same loop.
Create a campaign
You will have to create a campaign first, and then apply for the credit card as well. There will be a line below. Create an account without a campaign. You will click here and press skip to proceed further. Let me tell you, most people who have already tried account creation do not see this option.
If you don’t see this option, it means you earlier tried it and there can be a problem with it. In that case, I will tell you how to create a new account.
Create an account without a campaign
“Create an account without a campaign.” I am specifying I just want to create the account but I don’t have to launch the campaign at this time. So, I will click here to create an account without the campaign.
Then it is asking me to confirm my business information. It is asking for my billing country which it has tracked by default as Pakistan. Then it is asking for the time zone which will be according to Pakistan.
Then it is asking to specify the currency in which the ad will be run. These three things are important because you cannot change these three things later on. You have to ensure to choose the country where you live and the currency in which you would like to pay in the future if you are creating an account for yourself.
Choose Currency
If you are making an account of your client, then you will mention its country and currency. Normally, the formula for choosing currency is (let’s say your credit is from any Pakistani bank) to use PKR. If your account is US-based and your card is USD, you can choose the dollar here, because the currency you set here will be the currency of your account.
Let me mention one thing here. Most accounts allow both debit and credit cards. It varies from bank to bank, which features they allow and which features they don’t allow. Since I have to create an account in Pakistan, I will choose Pakistan as the country, time zone, and I will keep the currency PKR.
It won’t proceed unless I choose between these two options. So here it is asking whether I want their promotional offers or not. If you want promotional offers, that is, if google ads can send you something or not. You can answer it with yes or no. If you don’t want it to send, you can pick no. if you want it to send, you can click yes. I have clicked no and I will submit it now. My account has been create.
Professional Account
If you earlier convert to the professional account Creating an Account on Google Ads is, then you escape it in the second account (without a campaign), in the third screen you specifies your details. On the fourth screen, it display the congrats message where the “explore your account” option is given. Now, I will click it and my google ads account has been create.
Most people find a problem here in that they don’t find the options in the flow I have mentioned. If you don’t find those options or there is any issue otherwise, you may be got stuck in that loop. The easy solution is to either create a new account from a new Gmail id.
Don’t want to change the email id
If you don’t want to change the email id, you can scroll to the top right corner of the same account that has the problem. You have your name at the top right icon as you can see the icon of my name and ad account ID. If you click it, you will find your ad account and its ID in the drop-down menu.
Besides this, you also have the option of creating a new google ads account. If you click here, you can create a new account on the same email. When you will click it, the same process that I showed you will be display here. That’s how you can create a google ads account.
